Moore River

16th - 20th November 2016 Moore River is a wonderful, friendly seaside village about 100 klm north of Perth. Our best buddies that we met at Barn Hill are fortunate enough to call this place home. Just a bit excited to be seeing them again, and having some luxury accommodation. Not to mention green, green grass. We are having a few days here before heading to Perth for 10 days, then back again for a couple of weeks. Mike and Margo's backyard. They have an amazing vegie garden. Great day out exploring the Moore River. Margo doing a sterling job of tying us up so we could have our picnic lunch. Mouth of the Moore River. It is rare for it to be open to the ocean. Deb and Harry in this shot. They came up for the week end. Plenty of laughs meeting Margo's sister, Alli and friend Jude. And not forgetting Maisie. Neat sculture. Coral Coast

26th October - 16th November 2016 9 Mile Beach Within a couple of hours from Exmouth Airport to back camping on the beach. It was so good to be back in our little cubby house and on the road. However......not with the rain!!! The first day and night of our three night stay we were the only ones here. Peace and quiet heaven. Nicely tucked in against the dune out of the howling wind. Just us. View south from the top of the dune behind us. Home Sweet Home. But, man, the rain. It poured and poured. Oh well. Nothing to do but throw on the rain jacket and hit the beach fishing. And to quote an old saying. All we got was a wet arse and no fish! Our neighbours for a couple of days. And who would have ever thought...two Bev Youngs!!! In between rain showers it was lovely going for long beach walks. So many birds. Oyster Catchers. Sandpipers. These very tiny Sandpipers of some king (we think) are everywhere on th
